The West Virginia Uniform Unclaimed Property Act requires all business associations including financial organizations, utility companies and other legal entities to file an Unclaimed Property report. The West Virginia State Treasurer’s Office holds annual Holder Workshops and Forums to help keep the holder community informed.
As participants in the State of West Virginia’s Board of Treasury Investments program, all state agencies and political subdivisions are eligible to use the lockbox processing services provided by State Treasurer John Perdue’s Office.
