The West Virginia State Treasurer's Office has specific West Virginia Code Authority allowing it to procure its own banking and related goods and services (§12-3A-3); goods and services related to our College Prepaid Tuition and Savings Programs (§18-30-5); and legal, accounting, financial services, investment managers, advisors, and consultants on behalf of the West Virginia Board of Treasury Investments (§12-6C-5).

Procurements not falling within the guidelines of these exemptions are secured in accordance with the rules and regulations of the State Purchasing Division and West Virginia Code §5A-3-1 et seq.

Most bidding opportunities on this site fall within the guidelines of the exemptions listed above. From time to time, other solicitations may be posted that will be in accordance with rules and regulations of WV Code §5A-3-1 et seq. Please be sure to read each solicitation carefully and follow the instructions contained in each one.
